You try to be a friend, you try to be nice

You sit there and contemplate "do I really deserve this life"

Day in and day out

You deal with their laughs and shouts

Should you move on to something else

Only to be a lonely book on a shelf

Is giving up the solution

Could there be a real resolution

Think about them, think about you

And only then will you know what to do...
