Cries of Help

If someone cried out to you, would you help them or no

Would the despair in their eyes cause you to just go

Would you listen out for the cries of you peers

Or do those sounds just fall upon deaf ears

Are you willing to help someone in need

Or are you too consumed by self righteous greed

Open your eyes and open your heart

For a lost soul might soon depart
