Beyond Tomorrow

Am I who I say I am because you want it to be true Or do I actually believe that I am me because of all that I've been through I'm not sure, but this journey of life is all about trial Which means it's good to fail, so be true to yourself don't live in denial This road to yourself is one of the hardest feats of life's campaign So stay humble and believe in yourself and even you can stop the rain

The intentional infliction of pain is asinine Whether or not it is severe or benign So why would you cause the hurt on purpose Feeling as if you are doing the world a disservice Wanting nothing more than to be engrossed By that single indivdual who you love the most

Maybe the life that once was Is now because of Irrational choices made to Uncover and discover a clue To find what you mean to you

It begs out loud But only in the shadows when no is around It cries silently Holding back every emotion so to not erupt violently It trembles fearfully Drained from every moment, dragging wearily Falling apart like corroded rocks Still holding on despite the shots

Watching a building fall reminds me Of viewing a black hole, so empty Your heart is this hole And the lies that you told Help to erect this wall That will inevitably destroy us all

Why do you think  all things end Some might say it is for better thing to being So let go of the past to embrace what is to come You need not be ashamed of where you came from Still it can be the hardest thing to do But it is something that we all must do No matter what it is, you must release And only then will you achieve peace
